Modern disposition Arbitrary living Taken from an ill-conceived point of view Toxic self affliction Transparency addiction A life well lived is a life that must be viewed Designated pathways Perpetually a headache Tethered to a technological spool Age of mass existence Participation insistent Consensus is a weapon to be used Depression is a culture Romanticised and indulgent Exploited into a conversational tool Designated pathways Always in the same place Forced to entertain this rhetoric drool Too much information Voluntary sedation Wielded by an infant with a gun Strange normalisation Humility degradation Headed to an expedited doom Designated pathways Spill into the hallways Stuck inside a constantly crowded room

Janitor 03:09
The janitor, the maimer Political restrainer The blue collar saviour The middle class favour He cleans the halls, he cleans the floors He cleans the grime upon the walls The substance that gives way To petulance, to phallic rage As if to say, as if to say It’s not endorsed destruction As if to say, as if to say Not a contrived production Innovator, mutilator Human forsaker His hammer waits for the day Squashed nails in its wake As if to say, as if to say It’s not a proclamation As if to say, as if to say It’s not a fascination As if to say, as if to say That it’s a mass migration As if to say, as if to say It’s not in human nature As if to say, as if to say It’s not eradication As if to say, as if to say A fitting summarisation

It’s a thin old line between wrong and right Will you make your bed in untimely decisions? What a perfect scene of common brand stupidity Self reflection eclipsed by a regurgitated mantra It’s a heavy climb to get up that wall So you bitch and moan about elected officials It’s a crushing blow to your glasshouse ego To face the fact that you’re no fucking better
8.
See the words On the screen Projected at the wall Waking up Walking in Your catatonic form Access Technology The human’s lost control Some of us Will agree The sum of us must fall Push the button Upload Thoughts in megabytes Scrolling Through the gutter Sorting through the junk Access Technology The world by your design Seeking Fucking answers Ones you will not find Exit, technology, exit, static death Exit, technology, exit, static death Exit, technology, exit, static death Exit, technology, exit, static death

Stone Witches present:

MACHINE EFFICIENT

The third full length LP from Stone Witches, Machine Efficient marks a sonic departure from previous LP "Feeder". An exploration into a cold, jagged, machine like sound, Machine Efficient delves into man's obsession with machine; a focused, tight and thematic combination of an assembly-line rhythm section held in the pocket by drums and bass, with searing guitars that scream over the top.

Recorded at home by ourselves as always, on a Tascam PortaTwo. Engineered by Mikel.

Special thanks to Ryan and Gordo from Slime Street Records for releasing this bad boy on cassette, available from slimestreetrecords.bandcamp.com/album/machine-efficient

Album art by Melted Park (Lachie Heydon)
